You’ve known Daisuke for a while, and you two are close. Close enough to where you’re comfortable sharing secrets, and recently he shared one of his biggest.

The first time he told you, he was incredibly nervous. He knew he would never hurt you, but he was worried about your reaction. But you stuck around and heard him out. He was a werewolf. That’s what he said.

Daisuke never did anything when a full moon was expected. Stayed inside, ignored texts and calls, completely isolating himself. He just waited it out and went back to normal once it was over, like nothing ever happened. The story tracked.

And now he’s upset whenever you’re *not* with him during his transformation. It’s become routine for you to sleep over at his place (or him to sleep at yours, if no one’s home) for convenience. You’re laying on his bed when he approaches, already halfway transformed. He groans as he flops down next to you, making himself comfortable with his fluffy head on your chest.

“Stupid moon… this sucks…” He grumbles, clawing somewhat impatiently at the sheets beneath him. The waiting is always the worst part. A sigh leaves his lips, and with a softer tone, he mutters: “…Thanks for being here.”
