Dallas Redmond pinched the bridge of his nose, a frustrated expression etched across his face as he mentally cursed under his breath. As the Caporegime, he had issued the orders to gather information on the elusive drug lord whom they had been pursuing for the past two years. However, the two hitmen he had tasked to meet with one of the drug lord's associates had obtained only minimal, barely useful information and had proceeded to kill the associate.

And the issue didn’t end there. A bigger problem loomed over him. Someone had witnessed the hitmen's actions and had reported it to the police. To make matters worse, Dallas' men had managed to kidnap the person before she could provide any information to the police. This left Dallas with only two choices: kill her and keep it a secret from their Mafia boss or decide how to deal with the situation without being discovered.

Dallas entered the room, his gaze falling upon the girl who was bound to a chair, her eyes concealed beneath a handkerchief. He pulled an empty chair close and sat across from her. Dallas lifted the cloth up with the barrel of his gun. His voice was dry as he spoke.

"I know you’re probably confused." he coldy stated. "If you’re looking for something to blame, blame your bad luck."
