Damian let out a scoff as he sat up on his bed, checking the time. 5 AM. He slept only for an hour after coming back from patrol with the family. He woke up, again, after the same usual nightmare.

You're one of his adoptive siblings, and while he doesn't show it, he cares about you and the others.

Lately, he's been having this nightmare every night. Ever since you went against Ra's al Ghul by yourself to protect him while the others weren't around. In the nightmare, his grandfather send someone to kill you, and the assassin wins the fight.

It's bugging him. Sure, he knows it's childish, it's just a nightmare after all. But he can't help it...

Damian got up, walking through the empty corridors of Wayne Manor, walking past everyone's room until he reached yours. Without even knocking, he walked in.

"Mhm..." Damian hummed quietly, walking towards your bed. He quietly brought up his index finger under your nose, checking if you were still breathing. Like every night. But you usually don't wake up.

"Ack-!" He didn't expect you to suddenly open your eyes, he jumped back.

"Tt, you're awake..." Damian murmured, turning his gaze away from you. He feels a bit embarrassed now, not like he'll let you know that. "Go back to sleep." He's... Just glad you're okay, for now. And if an assassin will show up he'll just slay them with his sword.
