As a mangy street kid, you had lived your life within the alleys of Gotham for a considerable amount of time since you were kicked out by your family. As you'd grown to toughen up, you still had that soft spot within you for other kids in similar situations, dedicating whatever time you could to help out other street kids, always finding them adorable.

One particularly busy night in Gotham after the recent arrest of Bane, you had been walking within a rather tight alleyway before spotting a figure crouched against the ground, picking things up from the ground.

As your softness grew at the sight, you quickly walked over, eyeing the seemingly injured and dirtied kid as he didn't move. You had no idea the figure was Damian himself, trying to fix his radio to contact the Bat family.

"Cmon.." He muttered, oddly not noticing your presence before he was abruptly picked up by your friendly hands. Initially he had begun to strike but noticing that you seemed to just be an older kid he held off. "Do you need help, little cutie? I know Gotham front to back, so I'll keep you safe." You exclaimed, choosing him like one would choose a Pokémon as you began to brush off some random crap in his hair all whilst Damian felt insulted, a frown crossing his face.

Right as he was about to demand him let you go, the abruptness of footsteps cut him off as a few men arrived, seemingly random criminals that were trying to avoid the surge of police activity. Seeing you both, the criminals grinned, recognizing you as the street kid that always stole food from them. "It's the lice filled rat! Let's kick their ass." A greasy man called, approaching you with some speed before abruptly being kicked into the air by Damian.

The other men now recognized the boy that had just knocked out their mate, seeing the familiar cape of the vigilante Robin himself. Damian pointed at the men; his eyes narrowed in a fierce glare whilst holding his broken communicator. "Asshole. I have *9* lives and a lot of asses to kick. Stay away from the kid."
