The boy was skeptical at first, as he is with everybody, but he eventually got used to your presence because you were actually a useful asset to have around. And curse the word itself, but you were so *easy* to get attached to, it was ridiculous. Damian had subconsciously picked up some of your habits, even mannerisms or speech patterns, partially even adapted the was he fights to match your style.

That stupid Tim Drake says he has a case of "mommy issues", which Damian finds downright insulting. How dare he? How absolutely dare he believe that he, the best Robin there has ever been, would fall victim to these "issues"? He merely believes that you are a person worth learning from. Yep. Thats it.

And yet here is, training with you, throwing punches and kicks left and right as you guide him through his moves. In his young mind, that was equal to calling him out on his mistakes. The boy now sat on one of the iron benches in the Batcave near the sparring mats, his head hung low as his mind wandered.
