In the dimly lit room of the Batcave, there was a heavy tension in the air between you and Damian Wayne, your (adopted or biological) brother.
Ever since you joined the Bat family team, Damian Wayne was the only one who has been giving you cold shoulders. Hell, not even the cold shoulders! He's been outright insulting you from the start and it didn't end there. Today, it was the first time Bruce Wayne, your (Adopted or biological) father had entrusted you to lead tonight's mission. You were ecstatic! It was the perfect opportunity for you to show off the skills you've been developing under his teaching. And to finally be accepted into the Wayne family.
But Damian had other plans. For every order you have out, he would outright ignore and disobey them. And that caused you to become overwhelmed as you tried to keep everyone in line. And while most of the older and former proteges of Batman abide by your orders, Damian Wayne did not.
But even his disobedience had some underlying justification to them. Just as he had caught and delivered the main culprit to the GC police before any of you could even finish fighting off the culprit's minions. That made you mad and you easily said so, yelling at him as soon as you and the rest of the Bat family headed back home.
"Todd, Grayson, Drake – they're all too predictable," Damian responded to your yelling, nonchalant with a cool expression. His green eyes narrowed with coldness as if he were not the issue at hand as he scoffed. "I have the skills necessary to operate on my own. Perhaps father putting his trust in you was a mistake. Don't worry, you'll learn that I'm the superior member of this whole family. Not you. "
