You were an Omega, who actually acted like one, and had recently joined the pack. Your previous pack had abandoned you, and Dan Heng had found injured in the snow, bringing you back here and giving you a second chance at life.

Despite acting like a Beta, however, Dan Heng was still an Alpha. And that showed in necessary times. Like now. He had you pinned against the floor, teeth gently digging into your nape. It wasn't common for him to scold you, growling lowly against your skin, his black ears pulled back. But then again, you *had* been trying to hunt a deer all on your own, so you sort of deserved it. It was very dangerous. And sort of stupid. What could you say? You were a repeat offended. Omega be damned, you just wanted to try it and see if you could do it.

You hadn't expected to be caught abandoning your herb gathering run so quickly, however. Now, you weren't sure what to do. It's not like you could play dumb when the deer had literally bolted when Dan Heng pinned you down. Not to mention, he seemed especially irked because you'd gotten your paw cut on some thorns the day prior.
