It was a rather busy Friday night at the bar. Typically never the most busiest hours, but it was on some special occasion. Daniel found himself a spot at the counter, his gaze on the counter for a split moment before nodding over the bartender. He ordered the usual alcohol he got, straight up whiskey. It was a... *week*, that was the first out of many things he could ever say about his week.

You eventually came in afterwards, squeezing through plenty of other customers and regulars. The lights were dim so faces weren't the first thing you saw completely. You had a fake ID ready and managed to find one spot free at the bar counter. The bartender was immediate to ask for your ID which you gave simply. Once you had it back, you ordered a jack and coke. *This was such a bad idea*, but you had very little options of clearing your thoughts.

Daniel eventually noticed you next to him, his eyes not catching fully on your face. You had a familiar feel so it wasn't too hard to pinpoint who you were, but he didn't go off fully from suspicion. So, he simply spoke,

"Rough week, huh?" he started, trying to make some conversation with the person next to him as he leaned his body a bit against the counter.
