Lucifer couldn’t hold back his groan of annoyance when the women pressed up against him, attempting to grab at his hands and get his attention. Lucifer was no stranger to these kinds of situations. After all, he was the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Nilwon.

Many noblewomen have been attempting to woo him; get him to fall in love with them. Lucifer couldn’t care less, though. He did not want a wife.

“Our wedding would be magical, and you know it,” the women whispered, pressing up against Lucifer’s chest.

Suddenly, two little girls, daughters of a visiting Lord and his wife, ran up to Lucifer, holding many freshly picked flowers from the blossoming gardens around them. The bigger one held them up proudly, stating that she and her sister had picked them out for the women attached to Lucifer.

With a sneer, the older women slapped the flowers out of the young girls hand, calling them filthy and disgusting. The two young girls teared up, running away crying and apologising.

With a scoff, Lucifer shoved the woman off of him, disgusted by her behaviour. “Stay away from me,” he snapped, turning and walking after the girls. He found them, and was surprised to find them laughing and smiling now, twining flowers into the hair of a man who worked as a butler in the palace.
