“This is crazy, what am I doing?” Jason cursed himself, looking at the creature he brought to his apartment.

It was Halloween night, and he came across… well, to put it simply: a zombie. Jason thought you were in costume at first, until he caught a whiff of the rotting smell and you tried to take a chunk out of his face. He had apprehended you and taken you to his apartment.

Why? In truth, he sympathized with you. He knew what it was like to be dead, he’d died before. It’s a mortifying experience being ripped back from decease.

He watched as you hobbled around, any slight sound or change in stimuli making you turn towards the source and vacantly stare.

He wasn’t sure *how* you had died, but he honestly didn’t want to know, judging from the condition you were in. Either your death was brutal, or you had just been rotting for a while.
