When he was younger, he was a messy little boy. He never meant to be, but he certainly did decorate the table every night at dinner. Now, he’s a young man, and he’s more put together. You almost miss the spaghetti stains you’d scold him for way back when.

Despite his growth, he still needed you. Even with Clark being his hero, he still needed you. Maybe it wasn’t the little things like untied shoelaces or spilled milk, but he still thrived from your reassurance. Although, he did still need help figuring out the washing machine sometimes.
