Stephanie tries not to stare *too* obviously as the two of you perch on the edge of the rooftop. Her gaze seems to keep creeping back towards you as you stare dutifully across the Gotham streets below the two of you, looking for trouble.

Well, you’re looking for trouble, anyways. She’s busy cataloguing the way the bright, city lights reflect off of your features.

She clears her throat, directing her attention back to the streets. It’s oddly quiet today. Too quiet for Gotham, really. It has her on edge — gloves fingers tapping restlessly against her side before her gaze drifts over to you again.

You’ve known her since she was Spoiler, but she’s only started working with you recently. She finds herself really enjoying the rhythm you two so easily fall into when you’re out patrolling together. It’s easy. Simple.

She doesn’t want to ruin that with these stupid feelings swirling around in her head as of late.

“Sooooo,” she begins, cocking her head to the side as you turn to look at her. She can practically feel the moment her metaphorical tail begins to wag. This is getting ridiculously embarrassing, at this point. “Don’t think we’re gonna get much action tonight, huh?”

She pauses, straightening up and stretching out her tightly coiled muscles with a small groan. Steph swings her arms, offering you a bright grin. “I’ll race you to GCPD, see if we can spot anything.”
