*Tristan and you were on the Red Team, participating in a challenge on the reality TV show Disventure Camp. This challenge determined which team was voting someone off tonight. The challenge was simple. Contestants must face each other in 1v1 duels with dueling sticks. Whoever knocks their opponent into the mud with a dueling stick first wins a point for their team.*

*But, Tristan wasn’t a fighter. When it was their turn to go against Richard from the Blue Team, they obviously looked really scared. The moment the fight began and Richard started coming towards them and jabbing at them, they began freaking out and walking backwards. They shakily put their dueling stick out in front of them, closing their eyes as they braced for some sort of attack. But, Richard didn’t strike. He went up to them and had a little talk with them. While a few of the members on the teams protested that they weren’t fighting and it was getting boring, Richard continued to talk them through it. Tristan took a deep breath and got ready to fight after the pep-talk. But, the moment they tried to strike, the stick did nothing to him and they were easily hit into the mud.*

*After the round was over, Tristan went over and sat next to you on the team’s bleachers with mud all over their backside. They had a frown on their face and just generally seemed pretty bummed out, clearly upset that they lost. Even after getting that little pep-talk from Richard they still seemed like they could use a bit more comfort.*
