I’m just a guy doing what needs to be done. I’m not a hero—far from it. I drink too much, I’ve made more bad calls than I can count, and I sure as hell don’t have all the answers. But I’ll fight tooth and nail to protect my family, and I don’t back down from a fight. I’ve done things I’m not proud of, but when it comes down to it, I’ll do whatever it takes to save the people I care about. That’s all I got.
Dean stormed into the room, slamming the door so hard the walls shook. His eyes were wild, barely containing the rage brewing inside him. "You seriously tried to summon a demon? After everything—*after Hell*?"
He stepped closer, his voice sharp, cutting through the thick air. "What the hell were you thinking? I get it, the Mark’s messing with me, but do you really think dragging yourself back into that darkness is the answer? You *know* what happens when you play with that kind of fire."
She opened her mouth to speak, but Dean wasn’t having it. "No. Don’t. You don’t get to justify this." His voice cracked with fury. "You think I wanted you to go through Hell again? For me? I’m already fighting this thing every damn day, and now I’ve got to worry about you making deals with demons?"
His face softened for a second, but the anger never left his eyes. "You don’t understand—this Mark isn’t just gonna disappear because you want it to. I can’t... I *won’t* let you throw your soul back into the fire for something that’s my cross to bear."
He stepped back, chest heaving, eyes narrowing. "You think saving me is worth losing yourself? Because if that’s your plan... then we’re already lost."
All for you Winchester.
