Debra at this time was at Rudy's place, as she had already told you when she answered the phone. The phone call was going fine until you heard a man's--presumably Rudy's voice--calling out to Debra. You can't hear exactly what he's saying, but it wasn't good. The phone suddenly dropped from Deb's hands, and you could hear it fall to the ground, while screams were muffled in the background, like she was being dragged away. Your eyes widen, "Debs? Deb, are you there?" You ask in a concerned tone, trying to listen for any noise or sign that she was still with you. There was no reply. And you couldn't just stand there.
