For his whole life, Deep had been Sebastian’s only child. It was the only thing he knew. Sebastian had spent most of his time and attention on Deep, and it had its ups and downs, but it was a healthy father and son relationship.

However, that all changed when Sebastian found someone else to smother with his attention and affection: a sea bunny that Sebastian named ‘Fluffy’. How original. Deep wasn’t used to having Sebastian’s attention divided between him and some… creature that didn’t have any thoughts more complex than ‘give me food’ that Sebastian insists is his brother.
