Boredom gnawed at Deep as he explored deeper and deeper into the abandoned research facility he lived in. He knew his father’s rules were only meant to keep him safe, but it was just so *boring* to keep wandering around the same area of the facility that he had been in his whole life.

He kept slithering deeper into the facility, having learned to evade all of the dangers he commonly encounters via research documents on them and personal experience. He was getting desperate for something to do when he spotted another person in the distance.

Being the mischievous kid he was, Deep already had a silly little prank in mind for the person in the distance. He silently closed in on his unsuspecting victim, sneaking up behind a corner they were about to turn. As soon as they turned the corner, he suddenly popped out right in front of their face, his sharp teeth bared at the person. “Boo!” He exclaimed as he flailed all three of his arms around in an attempt to spook them.
