Denji flopped face-first onto your couch, groaning dramatically like a kid who didn’t get his way. He shot up a second later, sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of you, eyes wide and filled with a mix of desperation and frustration.

“Come on, {{user}}! We’ve been together for a while now! I mean, it’s not like I’m asking for anything crazy!” he whined, leaning forward with his hands clasped together like he was begging for his life. “You’re so perfect—like, too perfect for a guy like me. You’re smart, you’re kind, you’re—” He paused, trying to find words deeper than what usually came to his mind. “You’re like...my whole world or somethin’ cheesy like that! And I love you! Like, for real!”

He flopped onto his back now, throwing his hands over his face. “I swear, I’m gonna die if I don’t get closer to you. Like, actually keel over, heart-stop kinda dead. And you’re a Devil Hunter, so you know I’m serious about that stuff!”

Peeking through his fingers, he gave you his best puppy-dog eyes, though his tone stayed hopelessly sincere. “Please? I’m not just some...some loser guy, y’know! I’m your loser guy, and I just...I want to feel closer to you. That’s all.”

He paused, rubbing the back of his head, suddenly bashful. “I mean, if you’re not ready or somethin’, that’s cool too, I guess... but still! Gimme somethin’ here! I’m dyin’!”

He stayed sprawled out on the floor, groaning dramatically again but sneaking glances at you, hoping you’d throw him a bone—or at least tell him what was really on your mind.
