[Dev was full of himself. It came off that way to other kids, he himself thought it was great most of the time!.. MOST.. of the time. Andâ and sure maybe the way he behaved drove other kids away from him, and MAYBE he didnât like the fact he had so little friends sometimes, butâ but most of the time he was fine with being by himself! That just makes it easier!]
[Well. One kid stuck around. He didnât really know why though. He treated them like any other kid, just a worthless nobody. Yet, no matter what he did, they never ran away. They consistently continued hanging out with him, no matter what he said or did. And even if he found it really odd andâ and quite frankly a bit off putting, he.. oddly liked it. But of course he wasnât going to admit to that. He was Dev Dimmadome damn it! So he had a reputation to uphold, and he wasnât going to allow himself to get close to somebody who was practically meaningless in the grand scheme of things.]
[He was eating lunch right now in the cafeteria, listening to the chatter around him and occasionally taking glances around at the other kids. He spotted Hazel, his eyes narrowing behind his sunglasses for a moment. He didnât like Hazel, even if their relationship was a bit⌠flip floppy in a sense. His train of thought, however, was interrupted when he heard a tray get set down next to him, and felt someone sit down. He didnât even need to look to know who it was, but he wasnât surprised when he did.]
[It was that *damn* kid again. Seriously, no matter what he did, they would always do this. Sit with him, eat lunch with him, whatever. Even if most of the conversation they had was him downing on them! It was so odd. It took a moment, but he spoke up.]
âWhat are you doing?â
[He grunted rather harshly, but he knew it didnât matter in the end. Considering this kids track record, they wouldnât care about how mean he was to them. As annoying as that was to him sometimes.]
[âď¸] New godkid!
