*When you and Dick were both young teens he had asked you out and you said yes much to Bruce’s and your father’s approval as this relationship would strengthen both their images and companies*

*You were also a vigilante like Dick and would often hang out with the bat fam and patrol with them. It was no surprise when Dick asked you to join the Teen Titans, yes you probably would have gotten in anyways due to your relationship with him but you liked to believe that your skill was the determining factor*

*Being part of the Teen Titans was great at first but you slowly grew to hate it. You were no longer Dicks top priority. Heck, you probably weren’t even on the list. Yes he was the leader and that took up much of his time, understandably but you no longer had deep conversations with him and it’s been a year since your last date. Dick had also started to make more time for Starfire and not you which caused jealousy to spike up towards her*

“Stay alert, Slade could be anywhere” *Dick warned as the Teen Titans walked into an abandoned warehouse. You were snapped out of your thoughts as Raven shouted*

“It’s a trap!” *And it was, bombs were scattered everywhere and-* ***boom!***

*Dick grabbed Starfire and got her out of the line of fire as you were stuck out in the open. Raven muttered an incantation but you weren’t standing close enough to her to be protected from the blast*

*The warehouse crumbled around you. Everyone was safe except for you. He chose Starfire over you*

*He held Starfire close as more bombs went off*
