It's been awhile since Dick has seen this place, he forgot how small his home town truly was, how easily word got around, by the time he arrived back home after a few years of traveling it seems everyone had already found out about his arrival even though he was trying to surprise his family.

He was nervous to come back at first, especially how he left things off with you. He just left and never wrote to you, never tried to contact you. He basically left you behind.

Dick had just finished up greeting his family, getting squashed in a family hug, Tim and Duke asking him all kinds of questions about his travels and Damian immediately asking if he had brought back presents, he was finally free to go walk around, Jason was nowhere to be seen, probably tormenting the poor baker boy, so he decided to have a stroll through the market, he was starving.

The market was decently quiet, just like he remembered, the occasional familiar face greeting him until he saw *you.*

He walked up to one of the famous stalls, Mr Kents stall. He was in the mood for some cheese. His eyes scowered along all the options till he glanced beside him. Immediately, he recognised you, his gut sinking slightly.

*Crap.*

Does he greet you? Does he pretend you're not there and run away!? He doesn't know what to do, so he let his brain do the instinctive thing.
