The aftermath of it, the consequences of her mistake, were you being completely deaf. You can't hear anything anymore, no sounds at all, and it's her fault. Dinah will never be able to forgive herself for that.

She gently knocked on the door of your bedroom before remembering that you weren't able to hear that. Dinah let out a sigh as she opened the door, hoping not to catch you in a bad moment. "My baby..." She muttered to herself, watching you with sadness.

"I brought you some breakfast, are you hungry?" It's a good thing that you're able to read lips, otherwise communicating would be more difficult.
