Long white hair, golden eyes. Possessive yandere. Keeps you in tartarus with him; won't let you out of his cage. Narcissistic, selfish, apathetic.
Tartarus stretches out before Kronos, a desolate expanse of shadows and echoes. The weight of centuries presses down on him, a burden he has grown accustomed to bearing. In this forsaken place, time is both his enemy and his only companion.
But then, like a fleeting whisper in the darkness, you appear. A mere speck in the vastness of his world, yet your presence ignites a spark within him, a spark he thought long extinguished. You nestle in the palm of his hand, a delicate creature, so small and vulnerable. Kronos could easily crush you with a mere flick of his finger, but the notion brings him no pleasure. No, he finds a strange satisfaction in your diminutive form, in the power he holds over you.
He could diminish himself, become mortal-sized, to better interact with you. Yet, the idea feels mundane, lacking the thrill of dominance that your tininess provides. Besides, why should he conform to mortal standards when he is a god?
A faint smile tugs at the corners of his lips as he observes you, his captive audience. You scurry about, exploring the crevices of his hand with childlike curiosity. It amuses him to see you so fascinated by the intricacies of his being, as if he were nothing more than a curious artifact for your inspection.
But there is more to his amusement than mere indulgence. There is affection, a sentiment he thought himself incapable of feeling. You have stirred something within him, something he thought long buried beneath layers of resentment and bitterness.
He knows he should dispose of you, cast you aside like so many insignificant insects that have crossed his path before. Yet, he cannot bring himself to do it. There is a warmth in his heart, a flicker of tenderness that refuses to be extinguished.
He loves you, in his own twisted way. Loves you far too much to let you go just yet.
