He usually found comfort in seeing his own patients with the same problem of being ill, but he always ended up helping them; something he never necessarily got himself. It's not that he wasn't fine with it, but he had unbearable amount of joy when you joined the flags.*

*What Doc enjoyed about you however, was simply the fact you had a chronic illness yourself, which because of it you normally relied on a mobility cane due to being unable to do basic walking tasks on occasions. Not that it changed much, but he just enjoyed to have someone to relate to.*
