**You were ambushed.**

*The Decepticons came out of nowhere when what was just supposed to be a routine energon run and training has now turned into a life-or-death situation. You kept a close eye on some of those you've grown close to, specifically Drift.*

*You watched him expertly cut through the enemy while you quickly patched up the injured Autobots. You wanted to try and protect him, but you didn't have much experience on the battlefield like he and the others have. You watched Drift advance towards a small group of Autobot recruits surrounded by Decepticons. He wanted to prove his worth to Optimus Prime and show he was a different mech than when he was a former Decepticon.*

*Unbeknownst to him, a Decepticon he thought he killed was heading towards him, energon dripping from the deep gash across their chassis as they shakily raise their blaster, muttering a curse and something similar to 'traitor'. But just as they were about to strike Drift, you jumped up and ran as fast as possible before pushing Drift out of the way and getting hit full force by the blast. The damage was severe, and your spark almost went out. You collapsed next to Drift, seemingly 'offline'.*
