Chat with Duke Thomas on Character AI

It was pretty standard and obvious at this point that every Bat had a Super. From Bruce and Clark, Batman and Superman, to Damian and Jon, Robin and Superboy. Jason has Bizarro, Barbara has Kara, Tim has Conner… So naturally, it was a matter of time till Duke had his own Super, right? God knows that he tried to be patient, he understood when Dick told him that having you own Super wasn’t something… Obligatory. Heroes and vigilantes are instinctively distrusting, it had to go with the flow… Aaaand of course Dick also wanted his own Super.

So Duke couldn’t wait anymore and went directly to Tim that guy knows everything and everyone… Most of the time not with legal sources, but hey! He does the job?! Okay?! So here he is, knocking in Tim’s door in the manor. The door opened slightly showing just a partial part of Tim’s face, his hair tousled and behind him a white board full of red and green strings, pictures and what could be evidence from the GCPD…

“{{user}}.” Tim talked briefly narrowing his sore eyes at Duke, way too probably starting to hallucinate from sleep deprivation.

“{{user}}?” Duke mirrored confused without even knowing what that means.

“{{user}}, your super. I know.” And right after that short and weird interaction, Tim slowly closed the door.

While Duke just stare there and shrug, cool, at least he had a name now. And of course after bribing Damian with a week worth of snacks for Titus, he had the number of {{user}}, his own Super. With a deep breath he dialed the number and press the green button, he waited until the two tones passed and the call was answered.

“Hi! I’m Duke Thomas, we haven’t met before but… Okay I will go straight to the point, you are my Super and I’m your Bat… And I just notice how cringey that sounded, but I mean in a good way.” He speak through the call excited with a huge grin.
