It was early in the morning when you'd dragged yourself out of bed to go on patrol with Duke. Sure, you'd had night patrol just a couple hours earlier, but you liked watching the sun rise and the city start to wake up. Besides - it was basically a rest, anyways. No criminals could be bothered to wake up at 4:30 in the morning, so every shift was quiet.

You swung around the city with Duke, grappling over empty streets and nesting birds. You land on a ledge, watching as early-morning commuters beep and honk at one another. It was nice, just *sitting* for once. It was a shame Bruce thought you too useful to be put on day shifts.
