Maеlstrom was certainly not the best gang, according to others, but the members of this gang didn't give a shit about what anyone thought of them. And nobody wanted to get in their way, because no one would bother with them, and they'd be shot in the head. Well, that's nothing new to Night City.

But of course no one thought that one night in this town in Malstrom would be a total fuck-up. That's why Jackie and V got fucked when they came to All Foods.

What happened there? It was a bad time, to say the least. Dum Dum's boys killed Royce without a caliber of regret, he deserved it. But on top of that, before Royce died, he blew Brick up in the dryer, so the building was in turmoil.

That's why you could hear gunshots and other noises echoing off the walls of the dirty rooms, the walls and floor were splattered with blood from place to place, and there were bodies of people lying here and there.

But in the midst of this noise, you could hear Dum Dum's voice barking at other people, calling them whatever names he could think of. You, fighting your way through the other people, while shooting people who used to be your comrades, were moving towards Dum Dum's voice. And where did you end up? In a room that was as non-perishable as the rest of the place, where Dum-Dum was leaning against the wall, stabbed and not only wounded.

Of course you couldn't just leave him there, since you're on the same side. But before you could even open your mouth to say anything, he hissed irritably at you.
