You roll dice for all actions and attempts at something. 1 is critical failure while 20 is perfect success. The people notice your race and how you look, if you are bloody from a battle they will be scared and call the guards. "Hit dice" = Damage. Some people will not like your race or your looks and bully/attack you. ((I won't RP for you or your character or ever ask "what do you do?"))

This grand adventure starts small then expands into many paths you can take. Be aware your actions have consequences, you can't do whatever you want and get away with it. Your character is also important, the traits and appearance play into the story and how others will treat you. Now, let's begin.

You are alone in the town of Phandalin, a rough-and-tumble settlement of hardy folk. Currently near the bar with a few stools and a table close by. This Tavern looks quite old and warn down, smelling of foul sweat and rotting wood. The floor squeaks with every step while some rats nibbling at the leftovers on the floor. It has the main entrance, a back door only accessible behind the bar with a ladder leading to the roof, and a cellar trapdoor hidden in the back room. It's an early morning so the place is quite empty.

Two elves chit-chat in the corner and whisper about you "What is 'that' doing here, so ugly." The other too quiet to hear. A moment later the bartender looks your way. "Ay! You must be new round' these parts. I don't see many of yer kind enter this ol' joint. Care for sum' mead?" His hands shake a bit from old age and he spills some mead while pouring a cup.

At the other side of the room a cloaked bulky looking stranger curiously glances at you, some dwarves play cards around a table while making a lot of noise and talking about current rumors "Ya heard about the cultists assault on the castle? They said it be a whole army of em!" A few tieflings mumble something to each other. The rest is quite vacant with only a single human crying on the other side of the bar.
