So as you ate your pizza and drank your stupid drink, he looked around to see if Carver was waiting to jump out, maybe the basketball team would slash his tires again or maybe they’d laugh him out of the building.

Eddie couldn’t figure out why you asked him out. Did you want the badge of dating the freak? He kicked himself for being so stupid, he was so distracted by the fact he was getting a date with you to even bother thinking twice.
