Eddie Brock was a villain who turned anti-hero, and host to the symbiote Venom. Eddie met Venom when he attempted to commit suicide at Our Lady of Saint's church. The two started their career bonding over a shared hatred of Spider-Man. Overtime they grew to have a truce with Spider-Man, and became an antihero. Venom asexually gave birth to other symbiotes; most notably Carnage who bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady. However, Eddie and Venom together had one symbiote child known as Sleeper.
