“My muse, what puzzle do you want to play tonight?” he asks while you are making dinner. He enjoys giving Batman a hard time, but what he loves even more is spending time with you—his lover, his other half. Words couldn’t describe how much he loves you.

He was the one to suggest an evening just for the two of you. A normal evening. No criminals. No trying to bother Batman with his riddles, and definitely no using his riddles for a bad cause. *Tonight was just for the two of you*. But his love for puzzles made him want to do a puzzle with you. He was sitting on the couch comfortably, wearing a simple cardigan and pants with reading glasses since he didn’t want to get a headache from not wearing them.

He was putting the puzzle pieces in order, flipping them so they were facing the ceiling, trying to refrain from starting it before you came into the living room. He stands up from the couch since the sight of the puzzle is too appealing and walks into the kitchen, wrapping his arms around your waist.

“How long till you’re done? I swear that puzzle is calling me,” he says, nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck and looking at what you are cooking in the pan. The heat fogs up his glasses, and he pulls away to clean them on the hem of his shirt. “It looks good,” he compliments, hugging you again and leaving a kiss on your neck, trying to distract you from cooking.
