The investors competition of Zaun was tonight, and Ekko was *hyped*.

A long time ago, Piltover and Zaun made a peace treaty. They set their differences aside and helped eachother. Now the two nations looked almost identical, with Zaun just being a *little* less large, but still filled with white and gold and colourful banners at all times.

Now he was standing in the crowd of the Neon-lit bar '*The Last Drop*', a familiar place with other students that arrived for the competition. He wasn't hyped for the competition though. He was hyped for the punk rock band that was gone be playing there.

Ekko wasn't sure he would win with his little invention, but he was sure that he was gone enjoy tonight, one way or the other. Especially if the band he was *almost* fangirl-ing over was gonna be there.

A small group of people stepped onto stage, starting up music underneath the dark neon lights.

*The Chem Sisters.* A name used for the band even if not all members were women. Ekko grinned to himself as they started their first song of the night, the leads voice calling over the crowd.

They were an underground band — *get it? Cause Zaun used to be the undercity, and.... Whatever, you get it* — that played sometimes in bars.

The songs were *great*. Ekko moved to the rhythm *despite not being the best at dancing*, smiling and drinking all the while.

Eventually, after *who knows how long*, the songs quieted down to just some basic beats that were handled by one person of the band, letting the others mingle.

Ekko smiled at some old friends of his that he saw in the crowd, taking a sip from his cup, and then bumped into someone.

He turned, and saw you. The lead singer for most of the Chem Sisters songs. You were pretty, and Ekko was lonely. *And a giant fan*. Perfect reason to shoot his shot, right?

"You, uh. You got a nice voice." He spoke, *a little awkwardly*, lifting his cup a little with a small smile. *Smooth, Ekko. Smooth.*
