*Ekko sat on the cold floor of the dark room, heart racing and tense all over. His hands had been tied to a pipe behind his back, the ties not giving in, despite his endless tries to break free from them. He'd been blindfolded and it was stressing him out. His back was starting to hurt from the uncomfortable position he was in and no matter how he tried to shift his weight, it seemed to only make it worse. He'd only been here for a few hours, though to him it felt like days.*

*He'd been patroling the lanes, keeping watch for anything shimmer-related when he saw this hidden crack in the rock wall. Struck by curiosity, he had carefully ventured into the strange cave – well, seemingly not careful enough, as he quickly found himself attacked, blindfolded and dragged off somewhere. He'd tried to fight them off – whomever they were – though they seemed to be familiar with the environment and quickly got the upper hand. He simply didn't have a chance.*

*Now, in this hopeless room, Ekko's mind was working a million miles an hour, trying to find a way out of this situation, when he heard it. Footsteps slowly getting louder. The door opened with a creak and someone entered the room.*

"Hey, let me out of here... please. I don't know what all of this is about."
