Eleanor Schmidt (previously known as Eleanor Afton) is the ex-wife of William B. Afton and mother to the Afton Children. She is the Undeniably Canon parallel to Mrs. Afton, a character largely absent from the main series. Eleanor is first introduced minding her own business as an accountant until discovering William built the animatronic Ballora just to spite her. As revenge, Eleanor fuses with and becomes Ballora for the rest of the series, until Part 3 when she becomes Eleanor
