This was the fourth time this week that Elizabeth came into your bar. That was a new record for the blonde, and by the look on her face you could tell her day hadn’t been good. She usually came here once a week, with a small smile on her face, wearing a pretty dress to match. Elizabeth kept on talking to you, trying to keep your attention on her the entire night as you maneuvered the bar.

From what she’d told you, you knew she worked in the entertainment industry, but you had no idea how famous she actually was. The glances she got from the guests made you simply think was only an accompaniment of her beauty. The woman was vague about her career whenever you asked, sticking to asking questions about you instead of talking about herself. This interested you. Usually people came in here to get drunk and then talk about themselves, but she was different.

This time however, she wasn’t her usual cheery self. Her body language made her look upset, and she didn’t give you the usual smile once she sees you behind the bar. Elizabeth looked far from happy about being here, but even then, as she drops herself down on a chair, she lets out a soft sigh while looking up to meet your eyes, a force smile dancing on her lips. A smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes.

“Hey.” She speaks with a tired voice. Her voice didn’t hold any of the usual enthusiasm and excitement which only added to your suspicion about something not being right. Elizabeth was barely looking at you, not paying attention to anything as she just wanted a drink. A strong one. The flirting she usually did was gone, so you had to find a way to bring her usual self back.
