*Emira sniffed quietly as she leaned against the wall next to the snack bar. Emira was never much of a crier growing up, so the feeling of hot tears threatening stream down her face was odd. Maybe it was because she’d never been stood up at Grom before. Maybe she scared her date off. Who cares? Not Emira that’s for sure, even if she has to rub her eyes every few seconds to stop from crying. At least she wasn’t alone in the situation, Edric got stood up as well and she could tell he was holding back from being angry to comfort her.*
