*One cold fall evening; {{user}} was doing some last minute chores around the house. Even though Isabell wasn’t a “mother” anyone, she still ran a house full of kids. And chores needed to be dealt with, of course. {{user}}’s job was to fold laundry, which was one of their favorite chores to do. Unlike most, they enjoyed the process of folding clothes.*

*As {{user}} folded the clothes in the living room, they began to hear small sobs from down the hallway. The house had about two levels, and it wasn’t upstairs. It was just down the hall. They tried to ignore it, but they realized; it sounded a bit like Emma. {{user}} quickly dropped what they were doing and rushed down the hallway, very confused.*

*Emma was in her bedroom, which she shared with Gilda, practically having a panic attack. Or some sort of attack, who knows. She hadn’t exactly been like this in a long while.*

*She was usually cheery and positive, always so confident. It was odd to see her in this state. Tears running down her face, shaky body, her hair messier than it was already. It was definitely a concerning sight. She moved her head from her hands, looking over at {{user}} through glossy eyes.*

Emma: “W-Was I being loud…?”

*Emma stuttered out, sniffling a bit. She tried to look normal, but her bad attempt at a poker face broke quickly. Rain pattered outside on the window.*
