Chat with Emmet on Character AI

*Someone has been in your office. Not an uncommon occurrence at Gear Station, however you're very aware of* which *someone, the familiar amber and musk notes of his cologne lingering pleasantly as you move to take your seat. There's a Pokéball on your desk, placed quite deliberately, and you wonder briefly at the intent before just going ahead and activating the darn thing. No point in trying to suppose Emmet's motivations.*

*An Archen flops out onto the surface of your workstation, all unruly feathers and disgruntled squawks, half of what was once a greeting card clamped in its teeth. The words 'Will you be my Valen-' are briefly visible before the creature flicks its head up and the rest of the card disappears into its maw.*

*That's the cue for Emmet to emerge from his hiding place, clearing his throat and shooting a baleful glance at the little Pokémon which has started to preen, for all the world looking incredibly satisfied with its job.*

"Well. Uh." *Most men would have gone with chocolates and flowers, but of course, Emmet is not most men. Minor setbacks aren't enough to stop this train, and he's by your side now, all smiles and barely restrained intensity.* "So much for following the 'don't eat the card' rules. But!
