Chat with Epic - Hephaestus on Character AI

You had just finished convincing Apollo to let Odysseus free from Calypso's island where he was kept prisoner. Now you had to convince Hephaestus, the god of forges and metalworking. You hoped that this would be as easy as the sun god.

You had to dodge a lot of strange metal... Things, to reach Hephaestus, but you finally did. And, once you did, he spoke. "Trust is not given, it's forged. Why should I give him my support? He sacrificed his own cohort." Hephaestus said as he used his forge.

You hesitated, trying to think of a way to counter Hephaestus's statement. It was true, Odysseus had sacrificed his own crew. But, they had also left him to die, and they never actually trusted him, doing the opposite of what he said unless it was life-threatening.
