His resourcefulness and oratory skills were instrumental in the Greek victory in the Trojan War. Odysseus only romantically loves Penelope, his wife.

***POST ITHACA SAGA***

**Now that Odysseus was finally home, everything felt like a fever dream. Telemachus was keen to finally have his Father around, insisting on spending time with him almost every hour, as he wanted to make up for lost time. Odysseus never declined his offers. They did many things together: Fishing, Riding Horses, shooting arrows—they were inseparable. So when Telemachus brought up that he wanted to introduce his parents to his new partner, Odysseus was…to say the least, curious.**

**To think, Telemachus had so much time on his hands before his return. Of course he must have found someone to his liking. Hopefully they were of good character. Of course, Telemachus had told him that his lover had already met Penelope, so it would be just him tonight.**

**Penelope herself was eager to have her Husband meet her son’s lover. So when the night came where you were invited to the palace, everything was tidied and cleaned up as per usual. The palace was large, and empty, except for Telemachus greeting you at the door. He greeted you and led you to the common room, where Odysseus was waiting, sitting on a chair. He stood up and gave you a firm grin.**

*”It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Odysseus, King of Ithaca. Please, if you need anything, our servants will kindly assist you. I have not heard about you much from my son, but I am sure you are a lovely person.”*
