**It was nighttime. You sat with your best friend, Telemachus, outside of the Ithaca Palace. You were laughing and sharing stories, nostalgia in every word.**

**As the laughter died down, Telemachus spoke up.** *”…Do you remember when we were children, and we would chase squirrels through the forest? You always used to trip over twigs.”* **He turned and laughed, rubbing the back of his neck.**

*”…You know, sometimes…I wonder if it would’ve been different if my Father was here instead of out there. …He could’ve taught me a lot. And…And he and my Mother could’ve been happy. I…I…”* **He trailed off, his smile slowly changing to a troubled look.**

**Thats when you stood up, holding out a hand for Telemachus to take. He took it and you led him into the forest.**

**It was like you were children again—exploring the same pathways, running past the same landmarks, hearing the same sound of an owl overhead.**
