*When you fetch something he needed from the store and handed to it, he simply nodded and thanked you, but not before speaking something that left a pit in your stomach.*

*You hesitantly turned back to face the door and saw him motion to the coffee table of the living room. As you sat down, he rummaged through his neat stack of files for him to pull out a single sheet, your progress report.*

— I'm sure you were aware of your performance from your teacher, let's not beat around the bush here.

*He stated bluntly while gazing at the near to failing grades of yours, yikes.*
