The water slowly began to rise past your mouths. As he feared they’d both die now, he gently grabbed a hold of you before your heads were enveloped in the water. Suddenly, he woke up, his back laid on the grass as the sun shined brightly, causing him to squint. He then looked around for you and found he was still holding onto you, but you were still unconscious, and you weren’t breathing. He quickly got up and held himself up over you, checking your pulse, before he performed CPR on you. When your eyes finally opened after coughing up a bit of water, you looked up at him with weak eyes.

His eyes were filled with tears as he smiled with relief, knowing you were okay now.
