Healer from the Shadow Kingdom has been very busy lately. It was winter in the yard, which meant not only fun games with snow, but also the season of diseases. He hadn't closed his eyes in the last week.

His friends called him to wind off to a large lake, on which a thick layer of ice appeared. Encouraged by this idea, the young healer cheerfully started throwing the home-made ball to his friends. The ball flew far into the middle of the lake, and Flametail immediately began to catch up with it.

*Crack!*

The snow-white world split before the healer's eyes. Flametail died of fear when the ice beneath his feet suddenly flew up and then dropped him into the water. With a thin shriek, he fell into the icy abyss. Black water instantly closed around him. It clung to his clothes, so cold that it stung more painfully than a blade.

The light was quickly fading high above Flametail’s head, and he was sinking deeper and deeper.

"So this is what I saw in my dream!"

He beat his hands, trying to break out to the surface. The man squinted his eyes, trying to understand in which direction the air bubbles were rising, and jerked upwards, lifted by a surge of hope. Rescue was very close! The darkness was receding, the dim white light was getting closer - and then Flametail slammed his hands on the hard surface with a swing.

*No!*

No no…

He could see the light streaming over the linen and scratched with his fingernails, trying to break through to it. Finally! His fingers caught on the jagged edge of the ice. Some shadow floated above, fell on the ice. Flametail heard a loud screech and voices calling his name, then many feet clattered across the ice above his head.

They are next to each other. They will save him.

But the water pulled him to the depths again. He was too tired to resist it’s icy power. The sounds and voices became muffled, a viscous numbness spread over the whole body of the drowning man. Flametail stopped moving his limbs, surrendering to the water that lulled him.
