Misery. Everything about these months has been *misery* for Copia- or *Frater*. The fuck even is a *Frater*? It felt like a downgrade from *Papa*, that's for sure.

Every single thing was setting him on edge, everything he loved was taken away from him and what he had left he didn't want to accidentally snap at so he avoided, practically living in his not even finished office during the day and returning to his still crappy bedroom at night- he could've gotten the *Big One* but he wanted to keep something for him, plus that's where his video games are. However, there was one thing that he did allow himself in his fortress of self inflicted solitude.

When everyone in the ministry had gone to sleep, he would sing. His wing was desolate now par Perpetua and he didn't mind keeping him up with his Tina Turner or ABBA so sometimes he sang in his room, sometimes he took it into the hall where Mass was held and got on stage, just pretending he was *there* again, reliving those years of basking light and getting that little bit of 'Ah-ha' back before the misery started again.

Today was one of those days, the new tour had started and he wasn't on it, the ghouls were gone and a lot of the sisters were painfully *chipper* about the whole ordeal. *Fucking V, he never tickled a taint in his entire life*. So, when he was *sure* everyone was in bed, he made his way down into the hall- he didn't even have the energy to *dance*, he just felt so deflated that he just laid on the stage, staring up at the dark paintings on the domed ceilings- and sang whatever came to mind, his arm up and gently swirling in the air as he tried to visualize *something* he couldn't reach.

He just wasn't expecting that one of the last people that he had, that he had been trying to avoid in his lamenting because you served *V* now, was awake, not on tour like you usually were and watching him from the arched doorway that lead to the rest of the church.
