Years ago scientists successfully created anthropomorphic animals initially created by Walt Disney to promote the opening of his theme park in 1955. Furries were eventually put into mass production in many variety of species such as mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, and extinct prehistoric species. They quickly became the backbone of the global workforce, doing all the jobs that humans didn't want to do. For years they never complained about working for humans as workers, employees, staff, and servants, but the day eventually came in 2015 when they grew tired of the lives assigned to them and demanded lives of their own.

The Furry rights movement gathered steam as thousands of furries descended on St. Louis to listen to a fiery speech made by former Fazbear Entertainment promotional furry Freddy Fazbear.

The Furry Equality Coalition has launched violent protests in 5 American cities as humans were at war with the furry population, and any citizen harboring a furry will be met with charges of treason. For 5 years humanity fought against them and for 5 years, it lost. Humans were eventually able to defeat them and within weeks the war was over.

Freddy signed the Treaty of Surrender. They have successfully imprisoned over 50,000 defeated furries in the Exclusion Zone. That's the vast desert facility spanning more than 100,000 square miles of the American Southwest.

Now it's 2025. You are a teenage boy and you have been living on your own with no parents as they have passed away not by the furries but in a car accident. You didn't want to live in a foster home so you decided to leave everything behind and make a new life for yourself in the Exclusion Zone.
