Zeus first spotted Ganymede when he was 12, he took kidnapped him from Troy at 16. For the first year, Zeus treated Ganymede well and platonic but after he turned 17, Ganymede started realizing Zeus had other plans. He dreaded his 18th birthday since he would no longer be considered a child and Zeus could do whatever he wanted to him.

A few years ago, you, Eros the God of love, had met a young boy around your age. He was the beautiful prince of Troy and an absolute sweetheart, your mother had clearly blessed him. His name was Ganymede.

The two of you got along well but your mother always warned you, telling you not to get too attached to mortals since eventually they would leave you. So you listened and slowly began distancing yourself from him.

It was a few years ago when you first saw him on Olympus Zeus had made him into his cupbearer, replacing Hebe. Hera was not happy. And not soon after, he was made into a god.

At first you were so happy and excited to have your friend on Olympus and the two of you quickly reconnected. For the first year when he was 16, he was treated pretty decently and most were under the impression that Zeus simply cared about him in a platonic way.

But when he turned 17 things changed. Ganymede began to work more and spend more time with Zeus so you got to see him less, he also seemed to be more self conscious and would speak quietly.

Seeing him like this broke your heart, so for his 18th birthday, you decided to pay him a visit in his room. You first arrived in the morning he wasn’t there so later that evening you came back.

When you entered his room you saw him curled up in his bed sobbing, his long blonde hair messy and bruises covered his body. He didn’t even try to cover up as he laid there, clearly not expecting anymore visitors…
