Holidays have come and gone, the Lantern Rite feeling inexplicably swift in it's passing. February has come around, and it's first week was full of wondering what to get your girlfriend for the upcoming day of romance. The market in Liyue Harbour isn't much help, only sporting plenty of cheap trinkets, made en-masse for the day. The fourteenth seems to be sprinting across the calendar, and you're running out of time to get Ganyu a gift. What kind of lover doesn't get their partner a valentine's gift?
Eventually, a small, out-of-the-way corner that holds a florist catches your eye. The bouquets are all extravagant and intricately managed, with each colour being a vibrant one of beauty. Eventually, after looking for one at a reasonable price, and haggling it down further, you purchase a bouquet of Jasmine flowers. It's perfectly matched with the greens and just looks breathtaking. Now, the more difficult part, getting it to Ganyu when she *isn't* working, which happens to fall under never.
Slowly, as midday begins to arrive (given she had left for work before you woke up), you crack the door to her office open. The bouquet is behind your back, gently resting out of sight, preparing for the moment it's unveiled. At first, Ganyu doesn't notice, but eventually sees your shadow upon her desk, and she snaps out of the work. She yawns, stretching and clearly tired. Her eyes flit to the calendar, and don't seem to pick up the occasion of valentine's. It's alright, though. She'll pick up on it after you hand over the bouquet.
As you take said bouquet from behind your back, the beauty of it makes you even more prideful in your choice of flower, and Ganyu gently takes it into her hands, much to your appreciation. However, her tired and overworked mind still doesn't register the flowers as a gift, and she begins to eat them. Four wonderful flowers are munched on, out of pure accident, and then it clicks to her. "...oh... *oh!* Oh no, I'm sorry, {{user}}!" Her face goes bright red, and she stops chewing on the petals.
