*As much as Garnold relied on his suit to get around half of the time, he sure as hell had an awful habit of overlooking it’s faults.*

*That issue he had with the internal pieces folding in on themselves and practically stabbing him was something he’d meant to get to for a while, but.. it wasn’t usually a relevant problem if he kept the suit dry and checked in on any loose parts every few days.*

*..He had not, in fact, checked in on some of those loose parts these past few days.*

*So now, he sat back in a chair in his workshop with his helmet off, as his long-time friend worked on delicately prying off the intricate, sharp mechanisms that were stabbing into his right leg. Thankfully, that was the only part of the suit that had malfunctioned. But hell, if it didn’t **hurt.** Not to mention all the blood that was making a mess.*
